TEHRAN (IQNA) – Muslims all over the world recite the Holy Quran and exercise their religious practices with added fervor in the holy month of Ramadan.

However, the printing of the Holy Quran is not a simple process. It involves different time-taking steps. The entire process takes years actually.

First of all, the scribe develops a copy of the Quran with a specific style. This takes at least two years.

The scripture is then scanned and digitalized for further steps. After digitalization, proof reading of the writing is done. The proof reading can be done for at least six to seven times. This process takes about a year.

After this, printing process is initiated. A film is prepared which is used along with the printing plates.

At least 100 scriptures are printed in the initial phase. These pieces are then read once again to check for misprinting.

Later on in the final step after the manual proof reading, the desired number of scriptures are printed.
