According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), it has been organized in Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan.
The country’s Academy of Sciences is hosting the cultural event held on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Various copies of the Holy Quran and rare Quran translations in languages such as Russian, Turkish, Tatar, Kazakh and Uyghur are on show at the expo.
On display are also Quranic artworks in different fields such as calligraphy and handicrafts.
The exhibition, which has been received well by Almaty residents, will run for 30 days until the end of the holy month.
Islam is the largest religion practiced in Kazakhstan, as more than 70 percent of the country's 17 million population is Muslim.
