Ramadan Festival Underway in Sarajevo
Titled “Islamic Culture and Art, the festival has been organized by Sarajevo Navigator Society in cooperation with Bashcharshia Society and the municipality of Sarajevo.
It includes religious speeches, arts, cultural and religious exhibitions, etc, according to the Iranian Cultural Center in Sarajevo.
With the cooperation of the Iranian center, a number of Iranian movies will also be screened during the arts-cultural event.
The festival, which will run until Friday, July 17 (the last day of the holy month of Ramadan), aims to introduce the Islamic culture and arts and promote Islam’s message of peace and friendship.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country on the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe.
Muslims comprise the single largest religious community in the country. They make up about half of Bosnia’s population.
