TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian cultural attaché in Kuwait underlined that cooperation among regional countries is necessary to put an end to sectarian sedition.

Speaking to al-Kut network, Abbas Khameyar added that the countries of the region should extend collaborations to ensure security and peace and resolve regional crises including terrorism, the threat of Takfiri groups and sectarianism, ICRO website reported.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian cultural attaché referred to the country’s nuclear deal with world powers and described it as Iran’s successful diplomacy to ensure the Iranian people’s inalienable rights.

He referred to the agreement as a historic achievement for all of the well-wishers and peace-seekers of the region.

Iran and the P5+1 (Russia, Britain, the US, China, France, and Germany) succeeded in finalizing the text of an agreement, dubbed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in Vienna on July 14 after 18 days of intense talks over Tehran’s nuclear energy program.
