Nat’l Quran Memorization Competition Concludes in Turkey
THERAN (IQNA) - The final stage of the national Quran memorization competition in Turkey was held in Rize in the eastern part of the country's Black Sea Region.
According to the website of Turkey’s Organization of Religious Affairs, from among 5000 Quran activists who participated in the preliminary stage, 7 top ones competed in the final round.
Rashid Tayyib Findik from Kahramanmarash region of Turkey won the first rank of the competition.
He succeeded to get the 100 grades of the competition including 60 grades for correct memorization of the verses and 40 for observation of Tajweed principles.
