According to al-Misriya daily, the two aim to publish their work after its completion in to help the visually-impaired read the Holy Book with ease.
Anik Adavarti, the woman, says she writes the verses and her husband does the proofreading.
She says the Islamic Society of Visually-Impaired in East Java, where she learned reading the Quran, has gifted her a special pen to write in Braille.
Braille is a writing system which enables the blind and partially-sighted people to read and write through touch.
It was invented by Louis Braille (1809-1852), who was blind and became a teacher of the blind.
