Nat’l Quranic Course Begins in Karbala
According to the website of the Astan, the courtyard of the holy shrine is hosting the course with the participation of 400 students from different provinces of Iraq.
The opening ceremony of the Quranic educational program began with Quran recitation by Rafi’ Al-‘Ameri, eminent Iraqi Qari and judge of Quran competitions who teaches the course.
The program continued with a speech delivered by Javad Al-Nasrawi, director of the institute who elaborated on the main activities of the institute.
He highlighted the importance of the course and said that it plays an influential role in training Quran reciters and experts of Tajweed principles.
Al-‘Ameri then talked about his teaching method and different topics to be instructed during the course.
