Braille Quran Conference Underway in Istanbul

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Second International Braille Quran Conference was held in Istanbul’s Uskudar district with the participation of 18 countries on Tuesday.

Authorities discussed difficulties faced by visually disabled Muslim in learning religion, Cihan news reported.

 

Turkey’s Family and Social Policies Minister Aysenur Islam and deputy from the Justice and Development Party Ravza Kavakcı attended at the conference which was held at Islamic Research Center (İSAM.

 

A Quran recitation was performed by a blind participant from Thailand.    

 

 

The conference is scheduled to last for three days and the participants will argue some hardships for the visually impaired Muslims in reaching main source of Islam.
