According to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, the course titled “A’imma Baqi’” (Imams of Baqi’) started on September 5 with the aim of disseminating the Quranic culture in the society.
Seyyed Adnan Al-Hajjar, head of the Religious Affairs Section of the Astan, said that the course has been organized under the supervision of Seyyed Nazar Habl-ul-Matin, custodian of the holy shrine.
He added that a number of Quran reciters and experts of the holy city of Najaf have cooperated in holding the course.
The three-week educational program is an opportunity for Quran activists to promote their skills in recitation of teh Quran, he said.
The center has invited eminent Quran experts of the region, including Karim Jabr Al-Zubaidi, to teach the course.
