Shias, Sunnis Hold Unity Prayers in Sacramento
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Shia and Sunni Muslims in Sacramento, California, held congregational prayers together in a show of unity.
The participants underlined the need for Muslims’ unity and awareness in the face of enemy plots to foment discord mong world Muslims.
The unity congregational prayers came during a visit to the city by Seyed Mohammad Reza Aqa, a member of Pakistan’s Baluchistan state parliament.
The event was organized by the Majlis e Wahdat e Muslimeen Pakistan (Muslim unity council of Pakistan).
It is an Islamic anti-terrorist and pro-unity movement emphasizing on Shia-Sunni unity.
