Kuwaiti Writer Indicted for Desecrating Holy Prophet (PBUH)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Kuwait’s prosecutor general has issued an arrest warrant for an author charging her of desecrating Islam’s Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Sareh al-Daris has insulted Islamic sanctities on her Twitter page, according to the al3asma website.
The arrest warrant was issued after Khalid al-Shimri a Kuwaiti lawyer filed a complaint against al-Daris.
A number of political activists and members of parliament have called for thorough investigation into the case.
That al-Daris is a school teacher makes it more necessary to investigate the case thoroughly, they say.
