Nat’l Quran Competition Underway in Saudi Arabia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 18th edition of national Quran memorization and recitation of Saudi Arabia began on March 26 at Sheraton Hotel in Riyadh.
According to Sabaq newspaper, the five-day Quranic event has been organized for two groups of male and female Quran activists.
Some educational courses on Quran competition judgment and Quranic sciences, cultural programs, scientific competitions, meeting with scholars and visits to historical sites in Riyadh have been planned on the sidelines of the Quran competition.
Top participants will be awarded in a ceremony to be held with the presence of Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, governor of Riyadh.
