TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Malaysia plans to hold a ceremony on the occasion of Mab’ath (call to prophethood) with the participation of Iran's representative at the 58th international Quran competition in Kuala Lumpur.

The program will be organized on May 5 after the evening prayers at the center.

The top Quran reciters and experts who accompany Seyyed Mustafa Husseini, the Iranian representative at this edition of the competition, will recite Quranic verses in the session.

The group includes Husseini’s father, Muhammad Abbasi, Mahmoud Fattahi and Muhammad Jabbari, Quran activists from Qazvin Province of Iran.

Mab’ath (the anniversary of the appointment of Mohammad (PBUH) to Prophethood) is celebrated by Muslims all over the world on the 27th of Rajab in the lunar Hijri calendar.
