TEHRAN (IQNA) – India’s Islamic organization Jamaat-E-Islami Hind spokesperson Shaiek Zabiulla said they will hold a discourse on Quran at Kalamandir on May 7 and 8.

Zabiulla told reporters on Friday that Quran pravachan will have discourse on 'A society devoid of evils' by Janab Muhammad Kunhi, director of Shanti Publications (Mangaluru). On Sunday, Kunhi will speak on 'Family wellbeing'.

Hindu religious heads like Suttur Mutt seer Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami, Adichunchanagiri Mutt seer Someshwaranatha Swami, Dhyanavana International Institute of Spirituality director and program coordinator Dominic Vas will attend. MLAs Tanveer Sait, Vasu, M K Somashekar and mayor B L Bhyrappa will preside over the function.

Zabiulla said that the organization has taken up the initiative to spread the messages of Quran to people from all religions. "At Quran pravachan, Islamic religious leaders will translate the messages to Kannada," he added.
