Quranic Courses for the Visually Impaired Planned in Karbala

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Publication Center of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine in Karbala, Iraq, plans to hold courses on Quran memorization and recitation for the visually impaired.

Quranic Courses for the Visually Impaired Planned in Karbala

According to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan will cooperate in holding the courses.

The "Imam Ali (AS)” Quranic School which has been recently opened in Al-Hurr Al-Sagheer region of Karbala will host the courses.

A Quranic session has also been planned on the sideline of the courses to be held daily with the participation of Quran experts of the Astan.

Quranic activities have significantly grown in Iraq since the 2003 overthrow of former dictator Saddam Hussein.
