Quranic Artworks from Different Countries to Be Displayed at Int’l Quran Exhibition

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The international section of the 24th Tehran International Quran Exhibition will be launched on Tuesday.


The exhibition got underway on Monday, June 13, but the international section is set to get underway on June 21.

Gholam Reza Noei, director of the international section, told IQNA that Quranic figures from 15 countries will be present at the exhibition this year.

He said Sheikh Nasser Othman and Gabriel Ingo, translators of the Quran from Italy, and Boris Nourik, translator of a Quran exegesis into Russian, will be among the guests at the opening ceremony.

He added that Quranic artists from countries like Afghanistan, Serbia, Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon and China will showcase their works at the international section.

The 24th Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition has numerous sections each one dedicated to a certain activity related to the Quran.

The expo is annually held in the Iranian capital during Ramadan.

This year’s event, underway at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall), will host visitors every day from 6 P.M. to 11 P.M. until June 30.
