Dubai Int’l Quran Contest to Conclude Saturday Night
The auditorium of Dubai Culture and Science Society will host the ceremony, the organizing committee announced, according to quran.gov.ae.
It said winners of the Most Beautiful Voice contest, which was held Thursday, will be awarded at the function as well.
Representatives of Bahrain, Bangladesh, and Libya won the three top titles in the Most Beautiful Voice contest.
Emirati Quran scholar Sheikh Muhammad Ali Sultan al-Ulama will also be honored as the Award’s personality of the year.
He has authored more than works in Quranic fields and founded several mosques, schools, and Quranic centers.
The 20th Dubai International Holy Quran Awards was held at Dubai Trade and Industry Chamber with the participation of Quran memorizers from 82 countries.
Iranian memorizer of the entire Quran Mojtaba Alirezalu represented the Islamic Republic at the international event.
