According to Qaaf news agency, the center organized the ceremony as a part of the plan "to train 1000 Quran memorizers in Iraq”.

Seif Mustafa Latif, Hussein Muhammad Abdul Nabi and Muhammad Thair Mathna, respectively 10, 12 and 11 years old, were the three memorizers of the Holy Quran honored in the program.

The plan is part of a series of cultural programs which are underway by the Dar-ol-Quran in different parts of Iraq.

Quranic activities have significantly grown in Iraq since the 2003 overthrow of former dictator Saddam Hussein.
