Committee Warns against Zionist Plots to Judaize Quds
In a statement released on Thursday, secretary general of the committee Hana Issa said the new plan is in line with Israel’s moves to Judaize Quds and eliminate all of its Islamic and Arabic symbols and heritage, Palestinian Information Center reported.
The statement added that Israel’s intensified settlement building activities and construction of a separation wall are also part of attempts to Judaize the city of Quds.
The committee called on the UN, UNESCO, Arab League and other relevant international bodies to put pressure on the Zionist regime to stop its illegal moves.
Over the past decades, the Tel Aviv regime has been trying to change the demographic makeup of al-Quds through different measures.
They include constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites and expelling the local Palestinian population.
