TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Dar-ol-Quran Karim Center of Germany will host the 5th edition of the Quran competition for European Muslims.

According to izhamburg.de website, it will be held in Hamburg from March 10-12 for two age groups of below and above 16 in two sections for men and women.

Quran recitation, memorization of the Holy Book, Adhan (call to prayers), Tarteel recitation, Quranic concepts, and Tawasheeh (religious singing) are the categories of the contest.

All Muslims living in Europe can take part in the international Quranic event.

It is aimed at promoting the Quranic culture and teachings, paving the way for Quranic talents to grow and enhancing unity among Muslims and the Quranic community in Europe.

Internationally-acclaimed Quran experts will form the competition’s jury panel, the organizers say.

Educational programs and Quran recitation sessions have also been planned on the sidelines of the contest.
