Pakistan to Host Int’l Conference on Seerah of Holy Prophet (PBUH)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international conference on “Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)” will be organized in Pakistan’s capital city of Islamabad in Rabi-al-Awwal (the 3rd month in the Islamic calendar- December).
According to the Iranian Cultural Center in Pakistan, "social welfare and justice in society in view of the Quran and Nabawi Sunnah” is the title of the two-day program.
The Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad will host the international event.
It has been planned on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Shahid Sediqi, the chancellor of the university, said that the university’s Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Sciences will hold the conference.
Intellectuals and scholars from Pakistan and other parts of the world have been invited to attend the program.
