Titled "Egypt: Cradle of Coexistence among Faiths”, the exhibition has been mounted at al-Misri Museum by the Ministry of State of Antiquities.
According to al-Yawm al-Sabi website, it features works related to the three religions of Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
They include several rare copies of Islam’s Holy Book.
The exhibition will be running for a month.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Minister of State of Antiquities Khaled El-Anany said the event is one in a series of exhibitions planned to be held regularly at the museum.
