The US Department of Justice said 35-year-old Gerald Wallace admitted during the plea hearing to leaving a voicemail message at the Islamic Center of Greater Miami, saying, "I’m gonna shoot all y'all.”

The call also included a hate and profanity-filled message against Islam, Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and the Quran.

Wallace pleaded guilty to a charge of obstructing the free exercise of religious beliefs by making the call and faces a maximum statutory penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, according to the DOJ.

Officials say sentencing for Wallace is scheduled for Jan. 17, 2018.
