Quran Contest for Students Held at Algeria University

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Saad Dahlab University in Algeria organized a Quran contest for its students on Monday.

According to al-Blida news website, 260 students took part in the competition, held on recitation of the Quran.

They included 120 female students, according to the organizers.

Members of the panel of judges described the level of the participants as very good.

The Saad Dahlab University is in Blida Province north of the country.

Algeria is an Arab country in North Africa. Muslims make up about ninety-nine percent of the country's population.
