Quran, Islamic Culture Competition Underway in Egypt
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A competition on Islamic culture and recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran has been underway in Beni Suef Governorate of Egypt since November 4.
According to menafn, the Quranic event has been held for school students of the region to encourage them to memorize the Quranic verses and Hadiths of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of Surah Yunus to Surah Naas, memorization of Surah Qasas to Surah Naas and memorization of Nabawi Hadiths are the categories of the competition, which will continue until December 9.
It is organized every year and students who win top ranks in a category are not allowed to compete in the same category in the next edition of the competition.
