
According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the program was organized in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Uganda.
It was held with the participation of Mohammadreza Qezelsofla, Iranian Cultural Attache in Uganda, Sheikh Abdulnoor Kakande, religious judge of Mukono town, Sheikh Imran Sali, representative of the national Mufti, Sheikh Yasir Kolomba, representative of the Grand Mufti of Uganda, and imams of mosques and academic, cultural and social figures.
Referring to the challenges among Muslims, Imran Sali, representative of Sheikh Sha’ban Ramadan Mubajje, Mufti of Uganda, said that secularization is the origin of the problems and challenges faced by the Muslim World.
He asked the country’s religious leaders and imams of mosques to take the policy of discourse, and disseminate the concepts of unity, peace and brotherhood based on the Islamic teachings.
Also addressing the program, was Yasir Kolomba who highlighted the role of imams of mosques and religious leaders in dissemination and strengthening unity and insight among Muslims.
The Iranian official also talked in the gathering, stressing the importance of insight in human life to distinguish between the right and wrong, friend and enemy.
He also said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always invited Muslim nations to unity, brotherhood, peace and coexistence with followers of other religions and will continue his approach.
