Best Qaris among Students, Academics to Be Awarded in Egypt
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The University of Cairo will hold a ceremony on Monday in which best Quran recitations by Egyptian university students and scholars will be introduced.
The winners will be selected from among those who took part in a competition in the holy month of Ramadan last year.
A total of 371 students and academics participated in the contest, which was held online, according to Shorouk News.
Most of the participants were from the University of Cairo and Al-Azhar University.
Top ten winners will receive cash prizes and certificates of honor in tomorrow’s ceremony.
