Memorizers of Quran Honored in South Iran
The ceremony to honor 48 Quran memorizers was held with the participation of Ayatollah Gholamali Safaei Bushehri, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the southern province.
Lauding the long history of Quranic activities in the province, Ayatollah Safaei said that the people of Bushehr are pioneers in such activities.
The Noble Quran, he continued, has offered the path for obtaining prosperity and perfection. “The Quran fulfills the needs of human society with an eloquent language in all dimensions, and understanding this Holy Book is an obligation for all Muslims.”
He also called for promoting the Quranic lifestyle in society, naming it as one of the responsibilities of Quran memorizers and reciters.
The 48 honored individuals have managed to commit the Quran to memory in the past two years with the efforts of a local Quranic center.
