President Visits Iranian Cultural Center in Ashgabat
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raeisi paid a visit to the Iranian Cultrual Center in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
The president has traveled to the Central Asian country to take part in the 15th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
During the visit to the cultural center on Sunday, Raeisi was briefed by the Iranian Cultural Attaché Navid Rasouli about the center and its activities.
The president also visited a number of classes held by the center, including Persian language, Iranology and calligraphy classes, as well as the library and an exhibition of Iranian handicrafts and talked with the students learning Persian.
In his address to the ECO Summit earlier in the day, Raiesi underlined the importance that Iran attaches to ties with the neighboring countries.
