Amal Official Hails Iran’s Stances in Support of Palestine
Addressing an online seminar dubbed “Tahrir al-Quds (Liberating al-Quds)”, Khalil Hamdan described Iran as the true example of supporting sanctities in the world.
The webinar was held Monday afternoon by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) with the participation of prominent figures from the Muslim world.
Hamdan further underlined the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy city of al-Quds, saying they are pivot of unity among Muslims and Arabs.
He referred to the pressures imposed on al-Quds by the Zionist regime and others, saying the holy city needs support and help from Muslims and noble people from around the world.
Sheikh Shuaib Buli, head of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Islamic Center in South Africa, was another speaker at the webinar.
He referred to the history of wars on al-Quds and said God has promised that Muslims will liberate al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque and it will come true one day.
Lebanese university scholar Raghida al-Misri also delivered a speech at the webinar, saying Muslims have always remained committed to the issue of Palestine and consider it as a pivotal issue for Islamic unity.
She said al-Quds will certainly be liberated in the near future regardless of attempts to normalize ties with the Zionist regime by certain sides.
WFPIST Secretary General Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Shahriari in his address highlighted the significance of Islamic unity and said al-Quds is the first Qibla (direction toward which Muslims say prayers) of Muslims and pivot of unity.
He also said that late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the World al-Quds Day so that Muslims all around the world would shout at the hegemonic powers and condemn their support for the Zionist regime.
