In a ceremony this week, officials of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah celebrated the expansion of the center's activities in all countries of South America.
Secretary-General of the complex Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher and a number of scholars attended the event, according to Alittihad.
Addressing the event, Sheikh Sherzad said that the complex has been making steady progress in a short period of its life, and has even competed with many leading scientific institutions in the service of the Noble Quran as the complex currently covers 155 countries.
He also appreciated the efforts of all the experts and scholars of the center.
Aisha Al-Ansari, Head of the Department of International Relations of the center, expressed her happiness with the arrival of the complex's services to all countries of the South American continent.
She also pointed to the related efforts to offer services to all countries in the Asian continent.
Last summer, the center celebrated the covering of all African countries.
