Winners of Qatar’s Sheikh Jassim Quran Competition Honored
Qatar’s Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanem honored them.
In the ceremony, held at Sheraton Hotel in Doha, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the competition Nasser Yousef Al Sulaiti said that after a stoppage of nearly two consecutive years, the competition back, thanks to God, to continue the path of good giving, in Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad bin Thani Holy Quran Competition with its multiple branches and various sections.
He added that the competition was launched last Sunday, and the number of participants reached 1,400 competitors. The ceremony witnessed honoring the distinguished new converts participating in the competition, males and females, in the new converts branch. The value of the prizes allocated to the winners of the entire Holy Quran branch is QR1.2m, with the first five winners in each of the three categories receiving valuable financial rewards.
