20 Webinars Planned at Tehran Int’l Quran Exhibition

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 29th edition of the Tehran International Quran Exhibition will host 20 international webinars, the head of the expo said.

Speaking at a Quran TV program broadcast on Friday, Ali Reza Moaf, who is also the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, added that the online seminars will feature topics like Muslim unity, Quranic and religious diplomacy, proximity of Islamic schools of thought, etc.   

Referring to other programs at the exhibition, he said it would also include a ceremony to honor a number of servants of the Holy Quran.

Moaf said special attention will also be paid to promotion of Nahj-ol-Balaqa and Sahifeh Sajjadiyyeh in this edition of the international event.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the official noted that a permanent secretariat of the International Quran Exhibition has been established at the order of the culture minister.

The 29th edition of the expo will kick off on Saturday, which is the 14th day of the holy month of Ramadan, and run for two weeks.

The Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer hall) in the capital will host the Quranic event.

It will be open to visitors every day from 5 PM to midnight.

With the motto of “Quran, Book of Hope and Calm”, the exhibition will be held with 45 sections set up in an area of 40,000 square meters.

The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.

The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.

In 2020 the expo was called off and in 2021 it was held virtually due to the coronavirus restrictions in the country.
