Davoud Shihab said Jenin has united all Palestinians and the victory achieved in the city belongs to the Palestinian nation, resistance forces and axis of resistance as a whole.
He said the main message here is that resistance is the only factor that can unite all Palestinians.
The enemy thought it could destroy resistance via preemptive attacks but it failed to achieve its objective, Shihab underlined.
Muhammad al-Hinidi, the Islamic Jihad’s deputy chief, also hailed the victory in Jenin and noted that the Zionist regime reached none of its goals in the raids on the West Bank city and its refugee camp.
He added that the battle in Jenin will lead to the development and strengthening of resistance in the West Bank.
Ismail Rizwan, a senior member of Hamas, also welcomed the Palestinians’ achievements in Jenin and said the resistance front proved it can deal blow to the occupation regime in the proper time and place.
The Zionists’ aggression on Jenin ended in failure as had its previous aggressions, he stated.
Jenin and its resistance manifested the most amazing signs of steadfastness against the Israeli enemy, he went on to say.
On Monday, the Tel Aviv regime launched a major aerial and ground offensive in Jenin and its refugee camp, killing at least 12 Palestinians and injuring dozens.
The military assault marked the largest in the occupied West Bank in around two decades, as the regime deployed armed drones and hundreds of troops against innocent Palestinian civilians.
Israeli troops also forced hundreds of families in the Jenin camp to leave their homes in preparation for demolishing them in order to reach the resistance fighters.
A steadfast Palestinian resistance response prompted the regime’s troops to finally pull back from Jenin on Tuesday evening following a 44-hour-long incursion.
