Osama Hamdan said the governments that have normalized ties with Israel must sever the ties and recall their ambassadors from Tel Aviv.
“We urge Arab and Muslim countries to fulfil their political and moral responsibility regarding Gaza,” he stated.
The Hamas official also called on Arab and Muslim countries as well as the international community to intensify their efforts for opening humanitarian corridors to send aid to the besieged people of Gaza.
“We thank the noble people all over the world (for their support for Gaza) and urge them to continue their efforts and to boycott Israeli products,” he added.
The Israeli regime has been conducting airstrikes on Gaza for over two weeks.
The attacks have claimed the lives of over 5,700 Palestinians, including women and children, with more than 15,000 people injured.
The airstrikes follow a surprise operation dubbed Al-Aqsa Flood Operation launched by Hamas against Israel on October 7.
Hamas said the operation was carried out in response to the occupation regime’s atrocities in occupied territories and its violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
