Ramadan Competition in Iraq Aims to Enhance Quranic Knowledge

IQNA – A competition on understanding Quranic concepts has been launched in Iraq in the holy month of Ramadan.

An online Quranic competition underway in Iraq during Ramadan

 

The Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine has organized the online contest.

It began on Wednesday, March 13, and will run through the 29th day of Ramadan (April 9).

Those willing to take part in the contest are required to log on to the website of the event and answer 100 multiple-choice questions about Quranic concepts and teachings, according to Karrar al-Shammari, head of the center’s Quranic media section.

He said the competition is aimed at raising awareness and knowledge about Quranic concepts among different groups in society.

It is part of the efforts made by the Dar-ol-Quran Center to promote reflection on the Quran and its sublime teachings, he stated.

Al-Shammari noted that ten top winners of the contest will receive cash prizes ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 Iraqi dinars.
