Addressing worshippers after Eid al-Adha prayers in Al-Omari Mosque in the Jibaliya Camp in Northern Gaza Strip, the cleric said the Palestinian nation has paid a heavy price for defending its land, Al Jazeera reported.
The mosque has been partly destoryed in attacks by the Israeli regime.
He added though they have paid the price on the path of defending their sanctities.
The cleric further said the nation will crush the enemy that is preventing Palestinians from performing their religious rituals.
Eid al-Adha has come as the Gaza Strip has been facing a genocidal war waged by the Israeli regime since October 7, 2023.
At least 37,296 Gaza people have been killed and 85,197 wounded in the Israeli onslaught.
Also, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine.
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) has warned that 50,000 children in Gaza require immediate treatment for acute malnutrition.
