The Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine organized the Quranic program on Tuesday, on the eve of Ashura, like previous years.
Karrar al-Shamari, head of the center’s media office, said holding the program is part of the efforts of the Dar-ol-Quran to promote the Holy Book and the Quranic-foundations of the uprising of Imam Hussein (AS).
He noted that the Quranic circle is held in a place where Imam Hussein (AS) recited the Quran on the last night of his life (the night before Ashura).
Mustafa al-Qalibi, Wael al-Kuraiti, Adil al-Karbalaei, and Karrar Layth al-Barzanji were among the qaris who recited verses from the Quran at the program.
Also, Ahemd al-Shuraikhani recited the Ashura Supplication as well as elegies at the event.
