IQNA – Palestinians and Muslim countries have no choice but to show resistance against Israeli crimes and occupation, says a Palestinian political analyst.

“We, the Palsetinian people, along with Arab and Muslim countries and freedom-seekers across the world, have no other choice but to resist in the face of this enmity and the genocide of Palestinian civilians,” Haitham Abu al-Ghazlan told IQNA.

Urging Muslims to cooperate in the path of resistance, he quoted the Quranic verse: “Cooperate in piety and Godwariness, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression, and be wary of Allah” (Surah Al-Ma’idah, verse 2).

“Are there any enemies greater than the Zionist regime in the region? Are there any other critical issues than unity against this enemy with piety?” he asked.

The remarks come as the Gaza Strip has been bombed with thousands of Israeli and American ammunitions since October last year, resulting in the loss of more than 39,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children. The genocidal aerial and ground attacks have also injured some 90,000 others in the besieged strip.

The attacks started after Palestinian resistance groups launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against the entity on October 8, in response to increased Israeli crimes against Palestinians.

The Al-Aqsa Flood Operation demonstrated that the regime does not have the claimed power as its claimed deterrence has been shattered, the analyst added.

The occupation has become “void” of its power as the resistance groups in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq continue to “humiliate” the regime, he said, referring to a series of pro-Palestinian operations launched by resistance groups in the named countries since October.

“The current situation shows that the regime does not understand anything but the language of force,” Abu al-Ghazlan said.

Iran’s True Promise Operation showed that the regime is in need of foreign aid to defend itself, he said elsewhere, referring to a drone and missile operation launched by Iran against the regime in response to an Israeli attack on Iran’s diplomatic mission in Syria.

Different powers have come to Palestine throughout history and have left this land, but the Palestinian nation remains steadfast, he said, adding, “The Zionist regime is not stronger than them, and with God’s will, occupiers will have no fate but disappearance.”

The normalization of relations with Israel contradicts the struggle against the occupation and undermines the unity of Arab and Islamic countries, the analyst said elsewhere.

Arabs and Muslims should unite, combining their efforts to resist the Israeli regime and uphold their common interests and principles, he added.
