Saeed Ohadi noted that the “Relief and Rescue, Health and Mass Gatherings Management in Arbaeen” congress will kick off in Tehran on Thursday.

He said an exhibition on the sidelines of the congress will showcase the latest accomplishments of knowledge-based companies related to the annual Arbaeen march.

Ohadi referred to the high temperatures expected in Iraq during the Arbaeen season and said one of the major health-related issues that should be tackled during the Arbaeen pilgrimage is confronting hot weather and heat stroke.

He said the Arbaeen Headquarters is preparing educational brochures to help the pilgrims.

Also, the congress of “Relief and Rescue, Health and Mass Gatherings Management in Arbaeen” is going to be held by the Iranian Red Crescent Society on six themes and educational issues are among the main topics to be discussed at the event, he told IQNA.

Health sector activists from Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Syria, Turkey and a number of other countries are expected to take part in the congress, according to Ohadi.
