According to the Palestinian Information Centre, the ministry says this is being facilitated through increased armed incursions by Israeli forces and settlers.
In its monthly report released on Tuesday, the ministry documented 21 incursions at Al-Aqsa Mosque involving approximately 4,700 settlers. The report also highlighted ongoing excavations and Judaisation projects around and beneath the mosque's foundations, Anadolu Agency reported.
The ministry stated that the normalization of the Jewish presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Noble Sanctuary violates the status quo established since 1967. Additionally, it noted that the Israeli Heritage Ministry has allocated $545,000 to support these incursions.
The report also mentioned that Israeli forces prevented the call to prayer 69 times at Hebron’s Ibrahimi Mosque in September, with the dawn prayer being banned for 19 consecutive days.

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied al-Quds and Imam at Al-Aqsa Mosque, condemned the construction of an elevator at the western wall of the Noble Sanctuary. He described the project as “part of a major plan to Judaize the area around the mosque.”
Sheikh Sabri stated, “This is an attack on Islamic property because the land being built upon belongs to the Islamic Endowments [Awqaf] Authority.” He further warned that the project aims to alter the landscape in occupied al-Quds to assert control over the holy city.
Israel’s annexation of East al-Quds is considered illegal under international law and is not recognized by most UN member states.
