Al-Tayeb criticized both the Democratic and Republican parties in the United States, saying they have disagreed on many issues except for their "unconditional and unlimited support for the Zionist entity."

He further condemned their unwavering backing for Israel, even when its actions are perceived as unjustified.
The Grand Sheikh also expressed his concern over the international community's inability to counter the "evil Zionist schemes aimed at killing Palestinians, escalating conflicts, and turning the region and the entire world into a hotspot of wars and strife."
The United States has provided significant military aid to Israel, including billions of dollars in arms, as Israeli attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip since October last year have killed more than 42,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

Al-Tayeb stated, "I can only explain this by assuming that there are undisclosed American-Israeli interests." He added, "I feel that the Zionist entity has exploited all its efforts under an American president (Joe Biden) who is loyal to Israel and allows it to do whatever it wants, without humanitarian or ethical constraints."
