Istanbul to Host 10th World Halal Summit in November

IQNA – The 10th World Halal Summit will be held from November 27 to November 30 at the Istanbul Expo Center, gathering experts from the halal industry from around the globe.

 

The event, themed "10 Years of Success in Halal," will gather stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and experts from the halal industry, Daily Sabah reported on Monday.

The summit is organized in cooperation with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), an affiliated body of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and coordinated by the Ministry of Trade and the Halal Accreditation Agency.

Contributions come from both local and foreign ministries and various institutions, making it one of the most significant international gatherings in the halal industry.

The event will feature the World Halal Summit, Halal Expo, Private Label, Natural Organic Vegan Zone, ETHEXPO Eurasia Tourism and Health Fair, Africa Special Area, Modest Fashion Special Area, International Ministers’ Session, Country Business Forums, and special B2B areas. These components aim to bring together international economic players in Istanbul for global trade.

Participants from sectors such as halal food, cosmetics, tourism, health, and finance will convene to develop innovative solutions and partnerships.

The summit will also host experts, academics, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives from around the world to share key road maps on the development and implementation of halal standards.

This year's summit will welcome visitors from over 110 countries, with more than 55 speakers from 20 nations, covering dozens of sessions across various sectors. The event is expected to host thousands of delegates and tens of thousands of visitors.
