Astan of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Plans Quran Memorizers Virtual Academy

IQNA – The Dar-ol-Quran of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine is going to establish an online academy of Quran memorizers.

An online academy of Quran memorizers is planned to be launched by the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine’s Dar-ol-Quran.

 

Sayed Murtada Jamaleddin, the deputy of the Dar-ol-Quran Center, said the academy would pursue enhancing Quranic activities of memorizers at the international level. 

He also noted that the center is holding virtual Quranic courses and programs aimed at boosting the Quranic culture.

There are more than 8,000 students from Iraq and 13 other countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran and the US, taking the courses, he stated.

They include lessons on Quranic sciences, divine Sunnahs in Quran, and Quranic verses about Imam Hussein (AS) and Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent), Jamaleddin stated.

The center’s in-person Quranic courses have also begun under the supervision of the Astan with the aim of training Quran teachers, he went on to say.
