Qatar: Awqaf Launches Fifth Edition of Islamic Sciences Learning Program

IQNA – Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs' Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance is set to launch the fifth edition of its Principles of Islamic Sciences program, open to both men and women from the public.

According to the ministry, the program will be held weekly at three mosques: Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al-Abdulrahman Al-Thani Mosque in Al Rayyan, Qanbar Al Ansari Mosque in Al Wakrah, and Abdul Latif bin Muhammad Al Misnad Mosque in Al Khor, Qatari media reported on Saturday.

Sessions will take place on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays after the Isha prayer and will continue until February 26.

The ministry emphasized that the program seeks to enrich societal understanding of religious principles while addressing doubts and misconceptions.

The program will focus on foundational Islamic knowledge through in-person classes designed to maximize engagement and effectiveness.
