Karbala Seminar Stresses Adhering to Quranic Culture

IQNA – The Quran Scientific Assembly of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine in Karbala, Iraq, organized a scientific seminar on the occasion of the World Quran Day.

This seminar, titled “The Holy Quran: Light of the World and the Hereafter” emphasized the importance of reforming human behavior by adhering to Quranic culture, Saeed Hamid, the director of the Quranic Studies Center of the Astan said. 

This seminar highlighted the importance of the Quran as God’s book and a divine mission for all humanity, explaining how to engage with various intellectual and scientific trends, he stated, Al-Kafeel reported.

This seminar addressed a variety of topics, including the importance of the Quran and the role of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in preserving the Book of God and spreading the Quranic culture, the interpretation and language of the Quran, those who only focus on recitation without paying attention to interpretation, and also those who do not believe in the Quran.

The assembly also organized a Quran workshop for those taking part in the Quran memorization program of the Astan.

This workshop emphasized the importance of preserving the Quran and instilling its values among the people.
