Ruqayya bint Munayya, an experts in the field, spoke about AI and its use in the service of the Holy Quran.
The seminar took place during a ceremony in the capital Nouakchott to honor Quran memorizers and teachers.
Ahmed Jadu Ould Eemi, spokesman for the two bodies organizing the ceremony, described the event as the culmination of the programs of the month of Ramadan and said celebrating Quran memorizers motivates them and promotes Quranic activities.
Mohamed Al-Amin Ould Sheikhna, director of Islamic Guidance at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, appreciated the work of the association in support of the memorizers.

During the ceremony, 37 female teachers and memorizers of the Quran were honored and prizes were awarded to the winners of the Ramadan Quran competitions.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Mauritanian Ministry of Social Affairs, as well as a number of representatives, mayors, lawyers and civil society activists.
