IQNA – Iran’s Islamic Propagation Coordination Council described the Karamat Week as an opportunity to revive Islamic values.

Karamat Week marks the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), falling on April 29 and May 9 this year, respectively.

It is a time of pilgrimage, celebrations, and cultural events, particularly in cities like Mashhad and Qom.

The Karamat Week is a unique opportunity to revive the pure Islamic values and renew allegiance with the ideals of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), the Islamic Propagation Coordination council said in a statement.

During the days of this week, the devoted Iranian people, by holding magnificent ceremonies, display a manifestation of love, unity, and spirituality in the realm of social life, raising the banner of dignity and Wilayat (guardianship) atop the peaks of honor and awakening, it said.

The statement invited all people, officials, institutions, cultural groups, and religious assemblies to participate broadly and inspiringly in the ceremonies and programs of this week, enhancing their grandeur, and to spread the message of love, faith, and dignity throughout the Islamic country.
