Hezbollah Chief Appreciates Iran’s Support in Meeting with Larijani
Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council who has traveled to Lebanon, net with Sheikh Qassem on Sunday.
In this meeting, which was also attended by Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani, Larijani emphasized the country’s support for Lebanon and the resistance at all levels based on the guidelines of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei and the solidarity of the Iranian government and nation with the Lebanese.
Sheikh Qassem, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the leadership, government, and nation of Iran for their condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of former Hezbollah chief Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and other Lebanese martyrs, and lauded the Islamic Republic for supporting Lebanon and its resistance.
He emphasized that Lebanon is steadfast in facing American-Zionist challenges and threats, and that the resistant people of the Arab country are honorably defending their freedom and independence.
Anyone who sees the courageous and patient stance of the Lebanese people believes that victory in confronting the Israeli enemy is theirs, he stated.

He further emphasized that Hezbollah is ready for any cooperation with those who stand against the Israeli enemy, “an enemy that poses a threat to all nations, governments, and the resistance without exception”.
Sheikh Qassem also said, “We believe that with remarkable persistence in confronting Israeli aggression, these aggressions will come to a humiliating end.”
