Nabiyuna Magazine Aims to Raise Global Awareness of Prophet’s Life

IQNA – The Nabiyuna journal is one of the publications of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine.

The Nabiyuna magazine is published by the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine to raise global awareness of the life of the last messenger of God.

 

It is published every six months in three languages ​​to document the Holy Prophet’s Seerah and raise global awareness of the life of the last messenger of God. 

This magazine is published in Arabic, English, and French, and the Great Prophet (PBUH) Center affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Astan is in charge of its publication.

It was first published in 2021, and its various issues have continued regularly to this day. The fourth issue was printed and published in September of this year.

Each issue contains several articles in Arabic, English and French, and the full text of these issues is available on the journal’s website at “https://nabiyuna.com”.

This journal publishes only articles and research that have not been published or presented elsewhere, and researchers are required and committed not to publish them elsewhere. Also, submitted material should not be offensive.

Research submitted to this journal will not be returned to its owners whether published or not, and the word count of each article and research should not exceed 10,000 words.

An article in Nabiyuna written by Sabah Eidan Hamoud Al-Abadi from the Faculty of Education at Maysan University states: Some interpretive narrations point to the fact that the name of the Prophet (PBUH) existed thousands of years before his birth, during the time of Prophet Adam (AS), and before the existence of man as the divine caliph on earth.

Omar Isa Imran Al-Lahibi, from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of Iraq, writes in another article: Miracles are one of the important to confirm the sincerity of the call of the prophets, and the Holy Quran was the miracle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). God Almighty prevented the infidels from bringing the like of the Quran, and they remained unable to bring the like of it due to the eloquence, rhetoric, and news of the Quran about the unseen matters of the past and the future.

In her article, Hind Kamil Khuzair Al-Ibrahimi, from the Faculty of Humanities Education at Dhi Qar University, has addressed the issue of the attention paid by female Quran commentators to the sermons and wills of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), stating: in addition to their reflection and investigation into the Quran and its verses, female commentators have paid attention to the Prophet’s (PBUH) life, sermons, and bequests, and even in non-commentary works, they have explained precise details of the social life and high moral standing of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The Great Prophet (PBUH) Center is one of the centers that strives to introduce the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), document materials related to the Prophet’s life, and propagate and disseminate them, raise the level of global awareness about the Prophet (PBUH), create peace and friendship between Islamic sects by emphasizing the fact that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a mercy to the whole world, and strengthen ties between Islamic and other societies by creating an atmosphere and propagating the Prophet’s (PBUH) mission.

This center also aims to attract capable writers and minds aware of the Prophet’s life and mission to re-understand the life of the Prophet (PBUH) in line with the criteria of thematic and documentary study, and to produce intellectual, cultural, and creative works that increase self-awareness and familiarize others with the Prophet (PBUH) and his mission.

Adel Nazir Beiri, editor-in-chief of the publication and director of the Great Prophet (PBUH) Center, says that in order for all people to recognize the Prophet (PBUH) as a good role model and a source of divine mercy, the center is trying to rewrite the Prophet’s life based on the Quran and respond to any kind of slander, accusation, and doubt.”

He adds: The latest issue of the magazine was dedicated to examining some controversial issues in the history of early Islam, including two events during which a group of prominent companions of the Prophet (PBUH) were martyred due to the betrayal of hypocrites and polytheists.

According to Beiri, other research in this issue includes examining the subject of Isra and Mi’raj in the Prophet’s (PBUH) life from a physical perspective and explaining the Prophet’s life in the Holy Quran.
